SafeMind provides an online mental health support platform that connects users with licensed therapists and mental health professionals. The platform also includes self-guided tools such as mood tracking, journaling, and curated mental health articles.

3. Not a Crisis Service

SafeMind is not an emergency or crisis intervention service. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact emergency services (911) or a crisis line immediately. See our Crisis Resources page.

4. User Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and truthful information when registering and using the platform.
  • Keep your account credentials confidential and notify us of any unauthorized access.
  • Use the platform only for lawful, personal mental health support purposes.
  • Treat all professionals and other users with respect.

5. Professional Services

Therapists and doctors on SafeMind are independently licensed professionals. SafeMind facilitates the connection but does not provide medical or clinical advice directly. Your relationship with your therapist is governed by their professional obligations and applicable law.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the SafeMind platform, including articles, design, and software, is the property of SafeMind or its content providers and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without written permission.

7. Privacy

Your use of SafeMind is also governed by our Privacy Policy and our HIPAA Compliance practices.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SafeMind is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
